Reginald George Albert Bailey (1938–2023) joined the club in 1970 and became a Life Member. A dedicated athlete who loved cross-country and road racing, he competed into his 80s, including over 300 Parkruns at Havant.We also sadly report the passing of former member John Brothers (1931–2023), whose company, JB Air Heating, generously sponsored several club races.

About the event
In the 2025 National Athletics League (NAL) season, Portsmouth's City of Portsmouth Athletic Club (AC) competes in the Championship South division. The Promotion Match is scheduled for August 16. These events provide athletes with opportunities to compete in various track and field disciplines, fostering athletic development and team camaraderie.
