Serena Vincent 2026 Indoor Champion

If you missed it — Serena Vincent has been crowned British Indoor Champion! 🇬🇧

Competing at the UK Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham, Serena secured the women’s shot put title with her very first throw — a season’s best of 17.33m. A statement performance that left the competition chasing from the start.

Nothing can ever be taken for granted in athletics, but this result surely puts her firmly in the frame for both the Commonwealth Games and the European Championships.

Serena has been part of our club family since she joined the Fundamental Training Group at just eight years old. It truly is a family affair — her mum, Helen, was until recently an Assistant Coach with the Youngsters, and her dad, Andy, remains a club coach and former Chairman.

A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for everyone connected with the club.
